C# trill Mechanism

This addition to a flute is almost standard on professional flutes. It enables a flawless high G to A trill and numerous alternate fingerings possible in works, such as the Ibert Concerto, that require third octave tremolos.

The D# Roller has been around for many years. It enables the player to slide the right hand pinky from the D# key to the lower keys with ease. Players with small hands tend to struggle without it.

Split E Mechanism

This option is only available on an

offset mechanism. Standard

construction requires the two G keys to work simultaneously. When these keys move independently, (split), they produce the correct fingering for High E.
